The countdown to September’s Hartlepool Business Awards is officially underway following confirmation of this year’s shortlists. With nominations officially closed and a strong response from the local business community, organisers of the event feel that the interest demonstrates the vibrancy and ambition of entrepreneurs in the region.
Now the focus is on the night itself when hundreds will gather at Hardwick Hall, Sedgefield, on Thursday, September 19, to recognise innovation of local enterprises and contributions to the economy and community.
Christine Hall, co-host of the awards evening and vice-chair of the Hartlepool Business Forum, said: “We’ve received a fantastic number of nominations this year, showcasing the diverse talent and innovation thriving in Hartlepool. It’s a testament to the resilience and dedication of our local businesses who recognise the value in working on their business with the ambition to raise their profile. These awards not only celebrate Hartlepool’s business community spirit but also provide recognition across the wider Tees Valley and County Durham.”
The awards ceremony promises to be an unforgettable night, celebrating the achievements of Hartlepool’s finest businesses while fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. Those in attendance can look forward to inspiring stories, networking opportunities, and a showcase of the business community’s success.
Orangebox Training Solutions and Forum chair Simon Corbett, who will host the event alongside Christine, said: “The Hartlepool Business Forum is extremely grateful to all those who submitted nominations, sponsors who have generously supported the event – including Gold Sponsor Vestra Homecare – and everyone who has already purchased tickets. “We are excited at hosting the event for the second year in a row and it would be fantastic for the Hartlepool Business Awards to keep growing. Good luck to all those shortlisted.”
