Historic 50-stand sell-out confirmed as countdown begins for first-ever Hartlepool Business Expo

The Hartlepool Business Forum has announced a major milestone ahead of its landmark summer event, confirming that all 50 exhibitor stands have now completely sold out for its first-ever expo-style gathering.

With a vibrant exhibition floor now fully booked, organisers have officially released delegate tickets and are urging professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners from across the area to secure their places.

The brand-new event will take place on Tuesday, June 30, at the Hartlepool College of Further Education between 10am and 2pm, and promises to shine a spotlight on the enterprises driving the local economy.

Azalea Wealth Management’s Harrison Smith, who has taken a leading role in organising the landmark expo, said: “The response we’ve had from the local business community has been absolutely fantastic.

“To sell out all 50 exhibitor stands for our first-ever expo is a massive achievement and shows the real appetite for collaboration in Hartlepool.

“Whether you are a small start-up, a sole trader or part of a much larger organisation, this event promises to be a fantastic showcase of local talent.

“It is a unique chance to step out from behind your desk, network in style and listen to some brilliant debates. I strongly urge everyone to grab their delegate tickets now and be a part of it.”

Spearheaded by the Forum’s steering group, the expo is designed to serve as a hub of local commerce, collaboration and learning.

Attendees will have the opportunity to browse 50 diverse business stalls, create valuable commercial connections and attend a packed schedule of industry-leading discussions.

Organisers have confirmed three high-profile panel sessions and keynote presentations to take place throughout the day.

The first session will be delivered by Origin People & Culture, providing crucial, practical insights into employment law and helping businesses stay “on the right side of the line.”

The second panel features Graeme Cochrane, managing director of GLC Projects – a winner at the prestigious Hartlepool Business Awards in 2025 – who will discuss the management of asbestos in regeneration and refurbishment projects, discussing practical steps to mitigate both commercial and operational risk; a must for all businesses.

The third and final session will be a headline debate featuring Hartlepool Business Forum steering group members Harrison, the managing director of Azalea, Cicor’s Matthew Pemrick and Sarah Thorpe of UKSE. They will join Forum chair Simon Corbett, Chief Revenue Officer of BrightPeak and founder of Orangebox Training Solutions, on stage.

Beyond the panel discussions, dedicated support services will be available throughout the venue to offer resources aimed at helping businesses of all sizes scale and grow.

The summer expo marks a pivotal milestone in a rejuvenated corporate calendar for the town, building significant momentum toward the area’s premier corporate celebration -the Hartlepool Business Awards, which will take place on Thursday, October 15 at Hardwick Hall.

Delegate tickets for the Hartlepool Business Expo on June 30 are completely free but must be booked in advance.
