Within the 184th issue of the Hartlepool Life, the Hartlepool Business Awards were ‘a fantastic success’!
That was the reaction after co-hosting the first Hartlepool Business Awards in four years at the Borough Hall. Now Simon, the recently appointed chair of Hartlepool Economic & Business Forum, wants to see the event grow next year – with even more of the towns business involved.
Simon and successful local entrepreneur Christine Hall hosted an event held in association with headline sponsors, The PFC Trust and The Plastic furniture Company.
More than 200 people were at the historic venue on Friday 17th November to see the 10 awards handed out, including Seymour civil Engineering being crowned Business of the Year award and a Special Recognition Award given to Hogg Global Logistics managing director Lyndsay Hogg.
The Hartlepool Business Awards’ return was achieved through the support of Hartlepool College of Further Education, Orangebox, Hartlepool Borough Council and rephrase PR & Media Services.
Sponsorship was also secured from Mark Lloyd Master Goldsmith, Tilly Bailey & Irvine Law, Evolution, J&B Recycling, Rise Tees Valley CIC, Water Babies Tees Valley, Durham & Darlington, British Business Bank, Teesworks, Hartlepool Sixth Form College and Northern Utility Solutions. Hartlepool Life was the media partner.
