Mission Statement
"Hartlepool Business forum is the primary business network in Hartlepool, bringing businesses together to make new contact, encourage inter-trading and sharing best practice to help support business growth and sustainability."
Objectives of the Forum are:-
- Prime business networking body in Hartlepool.
- To encourage business & employers to trade with each other
- To expand business contacts
- To educate, learn and improve knowledge
- Share best practice & highlight local success
- Update and inform businesses and employers of key issues/changes in policy
The Steering Group Members are Andrea Miles, Hartlepool Borough
Council, Andy Steel, Hartlepool College of Further Education,
Sarah Ainsley, Federation of Small Businesses, Chris Grievson, Hartlepool Mail and Rachel Anderson, North East Chamber of Commerce. The project is coordinated by John Megson.
The events which are provided from September to April are free
of charge and this is due to the kind sponsorship of the companies and rganisations reflected on the home page.
The Events are referred to on other pages of the web-site
commencing in September culminating in the prestigious Hartlepool
Business Awards in May.
The events are informative, up-to-date with diverse subjects applicable to all businesses both large and small. An important feature of the events is the opportunity to network with other businesses and business support organisations. The Steering Group are very receptive to ideas and suggested events from businesses attending.
